Board Meeting will be held tomorrow

The ministry is preparing to conduct this year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE) in April 2079 BS. The ministry is also preparing to conduct SEE in April as the academic session has been postponed for two months due to Covid.

According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Deepak Sharma, discussions are underway in the ministry to conduct the SEE in April. The ministry has moved ahead accordingly after receiving suggestions from stakeholders on how to conduct the examination.

The National Examination Board said that the issue has not been discussed yet. According to a high-ranking source of the board, discussions may take place at the board's meeting on Sunday. After the ministry has appointed Mahashram Sharma as the chairman of the board, the official meeting of the board will be held (tomorrow) Sunday.

Before being appointed as the chairperson, in the discussion held with the headmasters in the board, it was suggested that the students should be taught throughout the month and prepare for the examination in April. According to board confidential sources, SEE is being prepared to operate in the first week of April.

The Ministry of Education is preparing to bring the Federal Education Act from the ordinance after the Education and Health Committee of the Parliament repeatedly directed the Ministry of Education to cancel the SEE examination. A member of the board said that the preparations made with pomp would be in vain if the Education Act repeals the SEE.
