Although the responsibility of managing the answer scripts has been delegated to the state government, the authority related to the examination has been limited to the center.
In an interaction organized by Education Journalist Network (EJON) on Thursday, the Chairman of the National Examination Board, Dr. Mahashram Sharma said that such a proposal has been submitted to the Council of Ministers. "The state must be given responsibility. For this, we have moved ahead in terms of policy and law, ”he said. The results will be verified by the center. ”
He said that even if the examination is conducted at the same time, the results could be made public at different times. "The state that prepares the quickest results will make the results public soon. So the results may not be as public on the same day as before. The states will be able to make the results public on different days, ”he said.
The SEE of 2076 could not be conducted due to Kovid-19. For the same reason, the SEE of 2077 BS was not conducted and the question papers of that time are still stored. Chairman of the Board Dr. Sharma said that they have a bank of question papers and it will be handed over to the state. He clarified that SEE will be operated physically.
About five lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam. Examiners from around 11,000 schools across the country will participate. About two thousand examination centers will be established for the examination. He said that he has received information that about 80 percent of the students have completed their studies in discussions with the educational institutions of different districts.
